Note: The Havaist buses depart every 15-20 minutes during the day (from 06:00-23:00) and every 30-60 minutes at night. TWhile the trip duration is typically around 1.5 hours, traffic congestion in Istanbul can cause delays, especially during peak hours, potentially making the journey longer.

A one-way ticket for the Havaist airport bus costs €4 (TRY 144). Tickets can be purchased online via the Havaist website or app, or you can use an Istanbulkart card, available at the airport.

  Airport - Taksim Square (IST-19 line) - departs every 15-20 minutes from 05:10 to 01:00. The journey time is 1 hour 20 minutes.

  Airport - Sultanahmet (IST-1S line) - Every 20 minutes from 05:00 to 01:00, then every hour until 05:00. The journey time is 100 minutes. Airport - Bus Station (IST-3 line) - every 30 minutes from 05:00 to 03:30; The journey time is 75 minutes.

Journey Time: The metro takes about 40 minutes from the Istanbul New Airport to the city center, without waiting or transfers.

Key Note: Take the M11 metro line at the airport. The ride from here will take about 32 minutes to the stop of Gayrettepe Station, from where, getting the M2 line and after traveling 10 minutes you reach the stop at Taksim. Arriving at Taksim, walk or take a taxi, whatever is most appropriate for your needs.

Note: The metro, while cheaper, requires a transfer at Gayrettepe and thus may take a bit longer than direct routes. Keep in mind also that after 00:30, there is no metro. In addition, there is no luggage storage, so keep your bags close by and try to use smaller luggage if possible.
